The fight to eradicate injustice and oppression against the weak and minority in the society is a war that has raged for decades now. There is an increasing awareness to treat everyone equal, even if corruption and lack of empathy will not allow the fight to come to an end. It is important that the fundamental human rights of individuals are upheld so that they are treated with dignity whether or not they are in their native countries.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin through their Frontera Funds are dedicated to supporting groups who advocate for civil, human and migrant rights. They also support freedom of speech and civic response in Arizona as well as the Mexican border.

The duo got a $3.75 million settlement after winning their appeal for in the United States Court of Appeal over their unlawful arrest and detention by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. UNHCR

This is an organization of the United Nations that is actively involved in some activities that have a direct influence on migration. They contribute immensely to works relating to migration and asylum.

Arizona Project Justice

Their mission is to represent inmates that have been treated unjustly or claim to be innocent or have diseases and life threatening illnesses but are not getting the proper treatment. They believe that if anyone is denied justice, it affects the society as a whole. They collaborate with law schools in Arizona, pro bono lawyers and expert investigators to ensure that justice is given to the indigent.

The Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund

The DREDF is a national civil rights center that is dedicated to ensuring and advancing the rights of disabled people. They do this through education, advocacy, and training.

NAACP Legal Defense Fund

This fund is used to fight racism by advocating for racial justice. They also support the education of people against racism and will fight for racial injustice through litigation where there is need to do so.

A group that ensures that individuals have free will to express themselves is protected through writing. They operate in the United States and across the world.
